Leadership Opportunities

Student leading a group tour.

The Division of Student Life offers a variety of student leadership opportunities.  These positions (whether paid or volunteer) enhance the student's overall Louisburg College experience.  As you explore the numerous ways to get involved at Louisburg, you will learn that leadership is really about the process of developing skills, abilities, and values rather than holding a specific position.

The following are just a few of the many opportunities offered by the various departments both in Student Life and throughout campus.  If you have any questions about a specific opportunity or interest, please reach out to the sponsoring department or contact the Office of Student Engagement.

GO HURRICANES!

Conduct Board

Becoming a conduct board member is an amazing way to get involved in the College community, gain leadership experience, help educate fellow students, and make campus a better place to live and grow.

Student Board Members (SBMs) are trained to maintain an expert understanding of the conduct process, rights and responsibilities of students, and the Student Code of Conduct. SBMs serve as a support system, walk students through the entire conduct process and prepare students for their conduct hearing. SBMs will also lead workshops, presentations, and group discussions that serve as sanctions for students involved in the conduct process.

If you are interested in becoming a student conduct board member, please contact mbrigner@louisburg.edu.
