The Winter Student Art Show – Drawing and Ceramics

The Winter Student Art Show always takes place on Reading Day of the Fall Semester.  This student show will offer a selection of works created by Louisburg College studio art students taught by Will Hinton in the 2022 Fall Semester.  Drawings and color and design projects will be on display which were completed by the 131a Drawing Class.  These student works range from multimedia still life drawings, to narrative color paper collages of HOME, to painted self-portraits.  

The 283a Ceramics/Pottery class will share both thrown and hand-built functional earthenware pottery and figurative sculptural studies which speak both to historical nature of clay and the generosity of the vessel.  Personal Narratives will accompany most of these projects.
