Campus Life

The Louisburg College Office of Campus Safety provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors.  We are here to support a safe living, learning, and working environment for our community members.


It is the goal of the Louisburg Campus Safety Department to protect and serve the Louisburg College Community to ensure a safe living, learning, and spiritual environment by proactively developing professional relationships with our students, faculty and staff.


We will be the gold standard for Community Oriented Campus Safety Departments.

Core Values

We will conduct ourselves in a manner that is consistent with professional standards.  These standards include the adherence to our Mission Statement and Core Values.  We hold ourselves and each other accountable for our actions.  Professionalism means having a cooperate and personal set of standards for performance.  We aspire to high ideals: altruism, honor, respect, scholarship, caring, compassion, communication, leadership, and responsibility.

All of our personnel will be leaders within the organization and the college community as a whole.  We lead by example and utilize proper discretion.  We are committed to incorporating our Core Values into our daily work and carrying out our department mission.  The future of our organization and our ability to serve the community is strongly dependent upon developing leaders within our organization.  Mentoring personnel and empowering them with the proper training and experience is crucial to maintaining continuity of leadership.

We promote organizational strategies that support the systematic use of partnerships and problem solving techniques to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime.

We strive to provide a reliable and effective response to campus safety concerns and support a variety of campus operational demands.  We provide this high quality of service through training and personal commitment to our mission and values.

We will make effective use of our resources and provide a spirit of open communication and be held accountable for our actions, behavior, and performance by the department and its members, to the community that we proudly serve.
