Inaugural Miss Louisburg College Showcase Held

Miss Louisburg College 2025On Saturday, April 12, Louisburg College hosted its first-ever Polished and Prepared Miss Louisburg College Showcase! The show, with the theme of masquerade, was hosted through Louisburg College Student Life.
 
The showcase featured participants Raniyha Doneghy, Gracen Bruner, Ja’llian Paige, and Aniyah Worthy. The event was emceed by Isabella Thigpen and Trinity Merrell.
 
Each of the contestants participated in a pre-showcase interview, an opening number, and the talent, business professional wear, and evening wear/Q&A events. Judges for the showcase include Faith Thomas-Lewis, Deatrin R. Sutton, Raven McQueen, and Karleigh Ndiaye.
 
Contestant number 3, Ja’llian Paige took home the grand prize, the title of Miss Louisburg College 2025! Other prizes and titles included: Miss 1787, won by Raniyha Doneghy; Miss Blue and White, won by Aniyah Worthy; and Miss Hurricane, won by Gracen Bruner.
 
All proceeds from the event will be used to fund the Polished and Prepared initiative, designed to give LC students the attire and skills needed to succeed in their careers. This includes scholarships and the initiative’s professional wear closet.
