What address do I use to send mail and/or a package to my student?
Make sure you use the student's legal name that is registered with Louisburg College. No nicknames, please.
The student box number is given to the student when he/she picks up textbooks. The student also receives his/her mailbox key at that time.
When are packages and mail delivered to Louisburg College?
Mail and packages are delivered from various carriers (USPS, UPS, Fedex, and DHL) Monday-Friday anytime between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
When is mail placed in my campus mailbox?
All letter mail is placed in campus mailboxes by 2:00 pm Monday-Friday.
How do I know I have a package ready for pickup?
Once packages are received by the Louisburg College Mail Room, our staff must do the following:
- Packages must be logged in to our mail system.
- After packages are logged in, students are emailed (at their Louisburg College email address) notifying them of a package that is ready for pickup.
- Students must present their student ID to mail room staff in order to pick up packages.
NOTE: Packages are NOT ready for pickup until they receive an email from the campus mail room staff.
What happens if I lose my mailbox key?
If you lose your mailbox key, please report it to the campus mailroom staff as soon as possible. You will be charged $25.00 (to have the lock replaced).
