Coronavirus Updates

The Louisburg College Administrative Team continues to monitor and assess the Coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic and have made some recent decisions regarding the Spring 2020 Semester. Classes will continue through online delivery for the remainder of Spring 2020 Semester. Please email your questions or concerns regarding online delivery to Dr. Suderman,Vice President of Academic Life bsuderman@louisburg.edu. Louisburg College has decided not to hold a face-to-face Baccalaureate or Awards Ceremony. We are in discussions about ways to celebrate and honor those of you who have accomplished so much. Commencement will also not be held on May 16th. Please contact Carla Washington, Registrar cwashington@louisburg.edu with questions regarding Commencement. Students will be allowed to collect their items from Student Housing BY APPOINTMENT ONLY once the Stay At Home Order has been lifted. Students will receive an email with instructions on how to make an appointment to come and collect their belongings from the residence halls. If you have questions regarding how to collect belongings please contact Ron Shidemantle, Dean of Student Life rshidemantle@louisburg.edu. The College continues to be closed for students, public and nonessential personnel due to the Statewide Stay At Home Order. Our faculty, staff and administrators are working from home ready and able to meet the needs of our students. We will continue to communicate with our students, faculty and staff through our Louisburg College email.
Articulation Agreement with Chowan University

Louisburg College's Education Program signed an articulation agreement with Chowan University's School of Education on Thursday, January 16, 2020. The agreement will allow graduates of Louisburg College's Education Program to transfer to Chowan University's School of Education. The agreement ensures that our education graduates enter Chowan University with junior status.
